ARC Review: Elastic Hearts by Claire Contreras

EH AMazon

Victor Reuben.
Most sought out divorce attorney in LA.

Nicole Alessi.
Soon to be ex-wife of Hollywood’s biggest star, Victor’s latest client and his boss’s daughter.

In such a high profile divorce, they can’t afford any extra drama. Luckily, neither one of them has anything to hide.
Unless you count the mind blowing sex they had…
Three times all those years ago.

As long as they leave the past where it belongs, they’ll be fine. But with her wearing those tight dresses and him giving her those heated glances, keeping their hands to themselves is proving to be more difficult than either one of them realized.

It won’t be long before the paparazzi start to smell smoke, and where there’s smoke…

This was such a fun read! Elastic Hearts is pretty different from the other two books in the series, but still very enjoyable. I think Victor might just be up there with Jensen as my favorite book boyfriend. 😉 Although, I did want to knock him upside the head a few times…

I love Victor and Nicole’s relationship. The sexual tension between those two radiated off the page. They were just so HOT together. And Victor! You dirty, dirty boy. 😉 He definitely had me blushing at times! Victor was a man married to his career and that was the way he wanted it, anything else would’ve been just a distraction. He did not want to risk his law license by going there with Nicole, his client. But of course the more time he spends with Nicole, the more he loses his ability to stay away. That being said, it was nice to see a woman bring Victor to his knees and make him realize that maybe his job couldn’t bring all of his happiness. That fact that it’s his boss’s daughter makes it that much better. 🙂

Elastic Hearts is a refreshing story with a beautiful slow burn romance. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone looking for a light and sexy read! You won’t be disappointed!

And lastly, I would actually LOVE a book about Gabe. I think that boy might have some redeemable qualities in there somewhere. 🙂
