Book Review: PRICELESS (Forbidden Men, #8) by Linda Kage

Priceless by Linda Kage

Three things in my life were fact.
I needed Sarah to survive.
I needed sex to remain sane.
And I could never mix sex with Sarah.

I just knew—deep in my marrow—that if I did, I’d somehow lose her. All my deepest darkest secrets would crack open, bleed out, and ruin everything between us. I wouldn’t unleash the shit inside me on my worst enemy, let alone her. So she stayed strictly in the friend zone.

People probably thought I never went there with her because of her cerebral palsy, but f*ck them. She knew she was the most important person in my world, and I wasn’t about to risk hurting our relationship just to make my c*ck happy.

Until the moment she begged me to take her virginity.
Now it’s all about to hit the fan, because how the hell do you resist the one person forbidden to you when she says please?

5 stars!

AHHHH! THIS. WAS. AMAZING. It’s no secret how much I adore this author and this series! I seriously have no clue what I’m going do when there’s no more new Forbidden Men books to look forward to. You know the series is amazing when you’re still invested in these characters even after the 8th book. Brandt and Sarah’s story did not disappoint!

Linda Kage did a fantastic job at tackling such a delicate subject matter. The way she confronted Sarah’s daily obstacles and insecurities was nicely done. Speaking of Sarah, that girl was such an inspiration! She was so strong and determined to not let her disability define the way she lived her life. Her courage was admirable.

Brandt was actually PERFECT. That boy will seriously melt your heart. He was so caring, fiercely protective, and adorably sweet towards Sarah. You can just tell she’s the center of his whole world. I also LOVE the way he loved her, so intense and passionate.  When he looked at her he didn’t see a girl with a disability. He looked past all that and saw her for her true worth. I think Brandt is now on the list as one of my favorite forbidden men! Well… next to Mason, Ten, and Quinn, that is. 😉 Because let’s face it, it’s impossible to pick only one favorite forbidden man.

Linda Kage has completely outdone herself with this one. PRICELESS is a beautiful, emotional, and powerful best friends-to-lovers story. Brandt and Sarah were fantastic together. It was great seeing all the couples we love from the previous books, all happily married and popping out babies. And of course, we can always count on Ten finding a way to get his signature black eye, ahhahah. I can’t wait to see what Colton Gamble has in store for us next!
