Book Review: A Perfect Ten by Linda Kage

*SYNOPSIS*

Let your hair down, Caroline, they said. It’ll be fun, they said.

I know I’ve closed myself off in a major way over the past year, ever since “the incident” where I messed up my life completely. It’s past time I try to live again or just give up altogether. But this is quite possibly the craziest thing I’ve ever done. In a last ditch effort to invigorate myself, I’m standing outside Oren Tenning’s bedroom, I just peeled off the sexiest pair of underwear I own, and my hand is already raised to knock. My brother would disown me for doing anything with his best friend, and he’d probably kill Oren. But if I play my cards right, no one will ever know about this. Not even Ten.

Maybe after tonight, I’ll finally get over this stupid, irrational crush I hate having on the biggest jerk I’ve ever met. Or maybe I’ll just end up falling for him even harder. Maybe I’ll discover there’s so much more to my crude, carefree hunk than meets the eye.

*MY REVIEW*

Sorry guys! I also posted this review on GR and Amazon foreverrrr ago.

5++ STARS!!

Thank you, Linda Kage, for an ARC of this wonderful gem.

Ten and Caroline’s story was absolutely perfect. I’ve adored Ten since the beginning but I freaking loved him in this! Ten is now my favorite forbidden man (Next to Quinn of course). He really grew up in this book and left his manwhoring ways behind him. But he was still oh so sexy! Especially with Caroline. 😉 They have sizzling chemistry; EXPLOSIVE actually. I could tell how much he really loves her. And that ending? HOLY CRAP. I cried. A lot.

I loved hearing about my other favorite couple–Zwinn! I love me some Zoey and Quinn, and they are still so freaking adorable together. I love their friendship with Caroline and Ten. As you can tell, there wasn’t anything I DIDN’T love about this book. Everything was absolutely perfect.. But now I need the next book!

I’m SO ready to here about this Knox character. 😉 Love my Forbidden Men!

Book Review: Misconduct by Penelope Douglas

                                     Misconduct_CV.indd

From the New York Times bestselling author of the Fall Away series who never fails to deliver a “powerfully written contemporary love story…”*

Former tennis player Easton Bradbury is trying to be the best teacher she can be, trying to reach her bored students and trying to forget her past. What brought her to this stage in her life isn’t important. She can’t let it be. But now one parent-teacher meeting may be her undoing…

Meeting Tyler Marek for the first time makes it easy for Easton to see why his son is having trouble in school. The man knows how to manage businesses and wealth, not a teenage boy. Or a young teacher, for that matter, though he tries to. And yet…there is something about him that draws Easton in—a hint of vulnerability, a flash of attraction, a spark that might burn.

Wanting him is taboo. Needing him is undeniable. And his long-awaited touch will weaken Easton’s resolve—and reveal what should stay hidden…

*MY REVIEW*

Can I give this book more than 5 stars? please?

I received an ARC for a review a few months ago, and while I posted my review on GR and Amazon, I figured I needed to start blogging again. So, here it is…

FANTASTIC! UNPUTDOWNABLE! Penelope Douglas has completely outdone herself with this one. Before I go on, I have to say this: I need a Tyler Marek in my life. I’m 22 years old and I firmly expect to have one by the time I’m 23 like Easton. Really, though. Find me a 35 year old Tyler Marek. Basically, Easton Bradburry is so fucking lucky and I’m a jealous bitch.Their age difference is just SO hot to me!bv FANTASTIC! UNPUTDOWNABLE! Penelope has now written TWO of my absolute favorite reads this year. Guys, this book is insanely hot. Pen knows how to write assholes, and she knows how to write them veryyy well. Not only that, but she also writes the hate-to-love romance trope like she fucking owns it. The sexual tension between Easton and Tyler is so palpable, you could slice through it with a knife. READ this book! Trust me, Tyler Marek is not to be missed. 😉

*MY REVIEW*
TITLE: Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick
RELEASE DATE: October 7, 2014
RATING: 5/5 stars
A romantic thriller by Becca Fitzpatrick? YES, PLEASE.
Okay, I have been a HUGE fan of the Hush, Hush saga since the first book came out and instantly fell in love with Fitzpatrick’s writing while reading them. Needless to say, I could NOT wait to get my hands on this one…

This story was gritty, thrilling, suspenseful and HOTT. It was one of those books I didn’t want to put down until the end. Okay, yes, I kinda guessed during the beginning of the book what was actually going to happen in the end (com’on, my future career is in investigation), but it was still an enjoyable read that kept me on the edge of my seat. I saw that a lot of people who reviewed this novel found the MC to be annoying, well given the situation, I didn’t think that at all. I found that she really grew as a person from the way she was in the beginning to the very end. And, well, I don’t want to spoil too much but I think fans of the Hush, Hush saga will definitely want to devour this book!

I can’t say much about the romance factor because that would give too much of the plot away, and I definitely don’t want to spoil anything, but just know this: Becca did NOT disappoint (though no one could compare to my Patch Cipriano 😉 )

READ THIS BOOK! You will NOT be disappointed. 🙂
